With the Republican National Convention wrapped up, the focus now shifts to the general election. Nebraska GOP Executive Director Bud Synhorst says the party will be focused on legislative races and the second congressional district.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is putting campaign resources in Nebraska in an attempt to challenge for the second congressional district’s electoral vote. Synhorst says the move provides insight into how close the presidential election may be.

Synhorst says both national parties are also focused on the congressional race between Congressman Brad Ashford and challenger Don Bacon.
