The recovery will take some time for Nebraska counties that were hit by storms and flooding over the past few weeks.

Bryan Tuma, assistant Director of the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency, says they are helping with the damage assessment process..

Boyd County lost its main water supply line when the Spencer Dam on the Niobrara River failed. Tuma says that line should be replaced over the next six weeks or so….

Tuma says there is some replacement water available….

The cost to replace the water line is just over one million dollars.
