Fixing the Minnesota License and Registration System or MN-LARS is among Senate Republicans’ top priorities this legislative session. Senator Scott Newman of Hutchinson says of Governor Mark Dayton’s request for more money to fix MN-LARS.

In the wake of problems at MN-LARS, Newman says he’s looking for new leadership–including possibly at the Department of Public Safety. MNIT Commissioner Tom Baden was replaced by Johanna Clyborne just last month.
