FIX Credit Reporting Errors Act Introduced in Congress

The FIX Credit Reporting Errors Act introduced by Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar would require credit reporting agencies to forward any documents or evidence supporting it wasn’t the consumers mistake that affected their credit score

 

Klobuchar says this bill would allow consumers to take proactive steps to correct their credit reports.  Republican Steve Daines of Montana is a co-sponsor of the bill.
