Fischer Looks For Answers On Bergdahl

The recent prisoner swap by the United States and the Taliban, which saw the release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for five Guantanamo Bay detainees, remains a hot button issue in Washington. Senators met with President Obama in a closed door meeting on Wednesday and Nebraska U-S Senator Deb Fischer says the administration had been thinking of an exchange for over a year.

Fischer says the Armed Service Committee hopes to get more answers from the Obama administration.

Fischer expresses concern about the Taliban prisoners released and if they will now pose a threat to Americans. Fischer adds she hopes the American people can get more information on why the release was ultimately brokered.
