Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer, a Republican, feels confident her party will take over the majority in the Senate this fall.
And Fischer says if Republicans do indeed succeed at the ballot box this November, they need to return the Senate back to its old rules when they take over in January. . .

Senator Mike Johanns,  also a Republican, says the chances are very good that Republicans regain the majority in the Senate this fall.
Johanns is sitting this election out, deciding to retire from public office.
He says the Senate needs to change, so it becomes the deliberative body it was meant to be. . .

Republicans must pick up six seats to win the majority in the Senate.
