Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer says the federal government needs to answer to the country’s governors about where illegal immigrant children are being placed.
Fischer supports the demand by Governor Dave Heineman that federal officials provide the state that information. . .
Approximately 57-Thousand minors have crossed the southern border illegally, leaving Central America countries unaccompanied by adults.
Around 200 of those children have been placed in Nebraska.
Heineman has demanded the federal government provide information about the children and where they are staying.
