Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer says she hopes for an old-style Senate debate on the nuclear deal with Iran.
Fischer says the Senate needs to have a thorough debate with all Senators present in the chamber, something she believes Republican leaders want.
That debate won’t come until September, when senators return from their August break. During the break, Fischer plans to ask constituents their opinions on the deal.
The Senate will have until mid-September to vote on the deal worked out by the Obama Administration.
