A rural home south west of Utica was destroyed by fire today.
Yankton Assistant Fire Chief Larry Nickles says the Lesterville Fire Department got the call about 10:30 this morning….

The older home is located about two miles west, and a half mile south of Utica.

Nickles says the fire was well underway by the time firefighters got there…..

Nickles says there were no injuries…..
Nickles say a few firefighters from Lesterville and Yankton were still on the scene to control any flare-ups.
