Finding Workers for SD Long Term Care Facilities

Finding solutions for nursing homes is the goal of the Study Committee on Sustainable Models for Long Term Care of the South Dakota Legislature. The committe held their third meeting of the interim last week in Pierre.
Members split into five workgroups to come up with workable ideas.
Senator Erin Tobin of Winner headed up the Workforce group….

Committee Chair, Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton said they will meet again this fall to come up with specific bills for the 2024 legislative session.
