The National Pork Board has selected four finalists for the America’s Pig Farmer of the Year award program. The Pork Board’s Cindy Cunningham says this is the first year for the award, which honors farmers who use environmentally responsible and ethically humane practices to produce pork for a growing population.

Cunningham says the four finalists are going through an interview process in Chicago this week.

She says you can see a video of the four finalists and vote for your choice by going online to americaspigfarmer.com from now until September 10. She says the winner will be announced October 7 in New York City.

Once again you can register your vote by going online at americaspigfarmer.com from now until September 10.
