South Dakota legislative leaders are still trying to come up with guidelines to meet safely during the session in Pierre.

Representative Ryan Cwach of Yankton says current technology allows many meeting options.

Representative Linda Duba of Sioux Falls has said she won’t go to Pierre until she gets a Covid-19 vaccination.

Cwach says legislators can miss some information by meeting remotely..

Cwach says most of those side conversations could be done publicly..

Cwach, a democrat, didn’t face an election opponent and is returning for his second term in the legislature.
