A new bill making its way through the legislature would revoke a Minnesota driver’s license after a person’s fifth D-W-I conviction.
Republican Representative Dario Anselmo of Edina is referring to reports that 424 people were arrested for D-W-I over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Anselmo’s bill would allow five-time offenders to petition the court to have their license reinstated after a 10-year period–if the offender does not pose a risk.
