FFA is not just for farm kids anymore. The agricultural youth organization has been growing in recent years, with much of the growth involves non-farm students living in urban areas. Juliah Tolosky is the executive director of the Minnesota FFA and says her state is a good example of that growth. Tolosky says schools recognize the value of an agricultural education, as well as the leadership development FFA provides students. The state FFA official says many members see the benefits of establishing contacts with the agricultural corporate world. The three-day Minnesota State FFA Convention will begin Sunday, April 24th and continues through Tuesday, April 26th.
