Few Answers For Blue Ribbon Task Force

The problem is well defined, answers….not so much. That appears to be much of the consensus following the first round of meetings of the Blue Ribbon Task Force on Education in South Dakota.

Education Department Secretary Melody Schopp says everyone knows about the issues with teachers…

 

Schopp says they are hearing some consensus on needing a new source of money for paying teachers…

 

Schopp says teachers also need moral support…

 

The newly expanded task force will hold more public meetings this summer before delivering their recommendations to Governor Dennis Daugaard and the legislature later this fall.
