A year ago farmers were seeing fertilizer prices skyrocket to over 300 percent increase, and crop protection products was in short supply due to a supply chain issue. As farmers prepare for this year, have conditions improved? Chris Redfield is the president of the South Dakota Agri Business Association. He says prices have gone down, but if farmers have not yet placed their order they need to do so immediately.
Redfield says there still are some delays because of the supply chain, but he says it has greatly improved since last year.
