Officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be in South Dakota the next couple of weeks, looking at damages from storms and flooding earlier this year.

FEMA Spokesman Daniel Breen says they are getting a first look at the damages..

Breen says they are looking at individual damage in a few counties…

FEMA staffers will be in Bennett, Bon Homme, Jones, Minnehaha, Spink and Yankton Counties as well as on the Pine Ridge and Rosebud Reservations.

Breen says they will be looking for all types of damages to homes and businesses…

Breen says next week they will be looking at damages to public infrastructure in sixty counties.
