The Environmental Protection Agency is wanting to implement new rules regarding the Waters of the United States which many farm organizations opposed as they believe the proposed rules are too restrictive and would force several farm ponds, ditches, and other non-navigational waters to be under federal government regulations.  Iowa Congressman Randy Feenstra recently commented on the issue.  Feenstra, a republican, says the EPA is overreaching on its authority.

Feenstra says the EPA’s actions are what concern farmers and ranchers.
