Feeding South Dakota Seeks Grant

Wal-Mart is offering $3 million in grants to Feeding America food banks across the country.  Feeding South Dakota is hoping to win one of fifty $60,000 grants, which could provide 300,000 meals to children, adults, and seniors across the state.  Kerri DeGraff is the Development Director for Feeding South Dakota…

 

DeGraff says the funds would help to buy and distribute food to those in need and all people need to do is vote…

 

Several other local agencies that work to fight hunger will also receive funds if Feeding South Dakota receives one of the grants.  The voting is now open and runs through October 5th.
