The Federation of State Beef Councils on behalf of the Beef Checkoff is partnering with the Daytona International Speedway to sponsor the 40th season opening race for the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Federation Division Vice Chair for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Clay Burtrum says The Beef It’s What for Dinner 300 race builds on their efforts to expand demand for beef.
He says this one great example of how the Beef Checkoff is benefitting the nation’s producers who pay into it.
Burtrum says the sponsorship of this race is just one of several programs funded by the beef checkoff.
The Beef It’s What for Dinner 300 race starts at 4pm central time Saturday February 13 and will be televised on Fox.
