Federal Deficit Continues to Expand

The Congressional Budget Office estimates the federal deficit for the current budget year is over seven hundred forty billion dollars, up over twenty three percent from last year and may end up over a trillion dollars by the end of the fiscal year in September.

This years budget deal raises spending by over three hundred twenty billion dollars and moves the debt limit two years down the road.
