Five Missouri Valley Football Conference teams are ranked this week in the FCS weekly polls.
North Dakota State remains the top rated squad in both the STATS FCS ratings and the AFCA Coaches poll.
South Dakota State, after a 21-17 loss to the Bison Saturday, remains third in the STATS poll while dropping into a tie four fourth in the coaches rankings.
After winning back-to-back games against top-25 teams, Missouri State is back in the Top 25 for the first time since September 2014 (coaches poll), clocking in at No. 24 in the STATS FCS rankings this week. The Bears were last ranked in the STATS poll in the preseason poll of 1997.
Illinois State and UNI are also ranked.
