FBI Takes Over St. Cloud Mall Attack Investigation

Authorities took an unusual step Thursday and released video footage from the September St. Cloud mall stabbings that left 10 people injured.  The Stearns County attorney admitted this isn’t something they normally due but decided too, in the interest of transparency.

The footage was chilling and clearly showed 20-year-old Dahir Adan attacking his victims and later getting shot by  an off duty police officer.  The case has now been turned over to the FBI and spokesman Richard Thornton says they continue to review Adan’s electronic media and his digital foot print:

Thornton says Adan may have become radicalized recently and that the attack likely was premeditated.
