FBI Still Looking for Clues into the Death of Tammy Haas

The FBI along with Yankton Police held a news conference in mid-April to announce a fifteen-thousand-dollar reward for information that would help uncover exactly how Tammy Haas died in September of 1992.

Kevin Smith, spokesman for the FBI Office in Minneapolis, says they hoped to jar some new information loose…

Smith says they have had some contacts since the announced the reward two months ago…

Smith says law enforcement has never put the case in the cold file..

Haas’ body was found in a ditch in Nebraska southwest of Yankton several days after disappearing in late September 1992. One person was charged in connection with the death but was found not guilty after a trial in Hartington Nebraska.
