The investigation into the death of 59-year-old Phyliss Hunhoff of Yankton continues, and little information is being released.
Special Agent Michelle Stevenson of the FBI office in Omaha confirms that their agency is in charge of the investigation but says agency policy does not permit her to say more.
Hunhoff’s body was found in her car on the Santee Indian Reservation in Knox County Nebraska on November 7th.
Authorities said foul play is suspected in her death.
She was last seen leaving her mothers home near Utica on Sunday night November 4th.
Stevenson says the FBI will issue a news release when there is progress in the case.
