Favorites Move On In GPAC

.  There were no surprises in the quarterfinals as all of the higher seeded teams advanced to semifinal play in the Great Plains Athletic Conference volleyball tournament.

Top seed Hastings dropped the opening set to eight seed Briar Cliff but bounced back for a 3-1 win. Midland, the second seed, also lost their opening set to seventh seed Concordia before moving on with a 3-1 win. On the other side of the bracket the higher seeds, Doane (#4) and Dordt (#3) both swept their way into semifinal play with 3-0 wins over Northwestern and Morningside respectively.

The semifinals are on Thursday, November 10, at 7:30 PM with the Championship on Saturday, November 12.
