The Yankton County Sheriff’s Office and State Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating the shooting death of a 14 year old Male that occurred at a residence located on East Side Drive, Yankton. Deputies responded to the residence after receiving a call at approx. 2:43 p.m. on Saturday March 5, 2016. The 14 year old victim was transported by Yankton County Emergency Medical Services to Sacred Heart Hospital where he subsequently died from injuries received. The investigation is continuing.
