The documentary “Farmland” premieres tonight in theatres across the nation. Farm groups, as well as the U.S. Farmer Rancher Alliance, have been promoting the film for months. Board member and Nebraska farmer Lisa Lunz says the movie looks into the daily lives of six subjects from various parts of the country, including the Lobergs of Carroll, Nebraska.
She says they’re hoping consumers and farmers will see the Farmland documentary and it will start a dialogue about food production.
The national screening starts tonight with the closest locations in Sioux Falls and Wayne, Nebraska. For additional locations go to farmlandfilm.com.
