National Farmers Union members have not taken a position on the President’s Clean Power Plan. Senior Vice President of Programs, Chandler Goule says they’re trying to work with the administration to make agriculture part of the plan and get credit for clean power that they produce or help contribute to.
Goule says while they’re taking a neutral stance on the President’s plan, they want agriculture to have a say in the final package.
Goule says NFU has also not taken a stance on the legislation currently floating in Congress to overturn the President’s Clean Power Plan.
