National Farmers Union leaders are concerned that negotiators are closer to a deal for the Trans Pacific Partnership. Senior Vice President of Programs, Chandler Goule says their major worry is that currency manipulation has not been dealt with, especially with the recent move by China to devalue its currency.

Goule says while China devalued its currency this week, there are other currency manipulators that are part of the TPP talks.

Goule says that currency manipulation is the most significant contributor to the massive U.S. trade deficit. In 2014, the trade deficit with China alone was $ 343 Billion.
