Farmers Gearing Up For NFU Fly In

A group of over 200 farmers will be in the nation’s Capital September 6 through the 10 for the National Farmers Union’s Fly In. Vice President of programs, Chandler Goule says they’ll be talking about Country of Origin Labeling, the Renewable Fuel Standard, the Trans Pacific Partnership and Rail shipment problems.
Goule says if the rail problem isn’t fixed, there will be severe economic devastation caused by a market collapse.
A group of over two dozen South Dakota Farmers Union members will be attending with rail and EPA’s waters of the U.S. rule their top concerns.
