The U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance has released the results of a new study on consumer’s perceptions about sustainability. Paul Spooner is USFRA Affiliate Relations and Ag Communications Manager. He says right now sustainability is a buzzword among consumers and so they surveyed consumers to find out why.

He says the results of the survey will help shape farmer’s conversations when talking to consumers about what they are doing to be sustainable in their own operations.

Spooner says they want farmers to share with consumers how technology such as GPS and planting biotech crops helps them to farm in a more sustainable manner.
