A storm packing high winds tore through the town of Garretson, South Dakota and through Minnehaha County this morning with 65 mile per hour winds. Minnehaha County Farm Service Agency Director, Larry Olsen says there were some farm structural damage reported and some trees down. He says he’ll be surveying the damage today and filing a flash report.

Olsen says with the high winds his main crop concern is with the corn.

Olsen says he hasn’t heard of any hail only the strong winds.
