USDA Farm Service Agency offices across the country are encouraging producers to make an appointment soon if they’re interested in enrolling in the Agriculture Risk Coverage or Price Loss Coverage programs. Bobbi Kriz Wickham with Nebraska FSA says although the deadline isn’t until March 16, scheduling an appointment to sign up now would be helpful.

She says FSA officials will assist with the enrollment process but producers should know ahead of time which program they want, either ARC or PLC before they come in to sign up.

Wickham says they’re also encouraging producers to make an appointment to sign up for the general Conservation Reserve Program as that deadline is the end of February.

Wickham says producers needing information about either ARC, PLC or CRP can access their website at FSA.USDA.GOV-ANY.
