Last year during the height of the COVID 19 pandemic, the numbers of volunteers dropped at FARM RESCUE, the Dakotas based operation that helps those who have experienced an injury, illness or natural disaster. FARM RESCUE Program Director Dan Erdmann says this year they’ve returned to more normal activities and have been able to help several producers.

He says currently FARM RESCUE is in the midst of helping those who need hay due to the drought that’s hit in North and South Dakota and Montana.

Erdmann encourages anyone who wishes to donate to contact their Field Operations Manager on the Hay donation or go to their website to submit any other donations.

Once again for more information or to donate log onto Farm Rescue.org or for hay donations contact Neil Simons at 701—212—3851.
