Farm Rescue, the non profit group that helps farmers with crop planting and harvesting has been busy this year helping those producers hit by the drought. Farm Rescue’s Dan Erdmann says their volunteers have been providing free hay hauling to help those in need in the Dakotas and Montana.

He says they’ve been hearing from a number of producers who need assistance.

Erdmann says anybody needing assistance or knowing of someone who needs help should give them a call or go to their website.

Erdmann says Farm Rescue is available to help producers with everything from planting to harvesting to hay and grain hauling.
