North Dakota based Farm Rescue, a non-profit organization that helps farmers and ranchers impacted by an illness, injury or natural disaster, is adding to its services. Farm Rescue’s Dan Erdmann says besides helping producers with planting and harvesting, they’ve added hay hauling and livestock feeding.
He says they started hauling hay this summer to help those impacted by the drought. Now that service, along with livestock feeding, will be available all year.
Erdmann says this has been one of the busiest year’s ever for Farm Rescue and they’ve been able to help a large number of producers.
Erdmann says they’re always looking for volunteers and for information on that or any of their programs just go to their website at (farmrescue.org).
