Farm Rescue, a non-profit farm aid group headquartered in North Dakota, is expanding its operations. Farm Rescue founder Bill Gross says they’re now serving a sixth state, Nebraska, with free haying and hay hauling assistance.

He says those needing assistance can apply for help right away.

Gross says they’re also accepting nominations for those who’ve suffered a major injury, illness or natural disaster.

Gross founded Farm Rescue in 2005 and since then has helped 400 farm families with planting and harvesting assistance. The non-profit group serves those in South and North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana and now Nebraska.
