Farm Rescue, the non-profit group that assists farmers and their families who have suffered a major injury, illness or natural disaster has had added work this year of the drought in the Northern Plains. Farm Rescue Program Manager Dan Erdmann says they’ve been conducting operation hay lift since April and are still continuing to get hay out to producers who need it.

He says they’re always willing to take donations of hay or any other donation a person may want to help with.

Erdmann says they’re covering a wide area with their hay lift service.

Erdmann says they originally started their hay lift program during the drought years of 2017 and 2018 and then provided that same service during the flooding that hit Nebraska in 2019.
He says those interested in donating or their service can contact their Field Operations Manager Neil Simons at Neil@farmrescue.org or call 701—212—3851.
