Enrollment is open for farm programs including the Price Loss Coverage and Agricultural Risk Coverage. Bobbie Kriz-Wickham with the Nebraska Farm Service Agency says they encourage farmers to make those elections as early as possible.

The 2018 farm bill allowed farmers to select between PLC and ARC every year but if they don’t make a change they will be automatically re-enrolled in the same program.

Kriz-Wickham says there are various resources and tools available to help farmers with their farm program decisions.
