There may be a push from the new Biden Administration to change or repeal the Navigable Rules law that replaced the Obama era Waters of the U.S. regulation. South Dakota Farm Bureau President Scott VanderWal says his and several other farm groups supported the Navigable Waters rule and will fight to keep it in place.

He says they’re willing to work with the President-Elect but will continue to stand up for their farmer and rancher members.

VanderWal says they expect several more regulatory pushes from the new administration and will be on the frontlines defending agriculture in each of those cases.

VanderWal says Farm Bureau will also work with several other ag groups in defending farmers and ranchers from unreasonable and overreaching federal regulations.
