Wright County Minnesota dairy and grain farmer Dan Glessing who serves as the Vice President of the Minnesota Farm Bureau has announced his candidacy for the group’s Presidency. If elected in November he would replace Kevin Paap who chose not to see re-election after serving 16 years at the head of the group. Glessing says his experience as Vice President of the Farm Bureau along with his 8 years on the board qualifies him for the President’s job.
He says two of the main issues for Minnesota’s Farm Bureau members at the National Level is being able to retain stepped up basis in tax policy and seeing Congress pass an infrastructure package.
