The 2021 session of the Nebraska Unicameral gets going on Wednesday. Hansen says there will be an effort to pass a bill to help expand local and small meat processing however one of the challenges may be the high price tag attached to that measure.

Hansen says there will be several changes involving state lawmakers as there are 8 new state senators coming aboard and new leadership will be put in place including a new Speaker as well as a new Chairman of the Executive Board named.
