Nebraska Farmers Union members are holding their state convention in Lincoln today and tomorrow. President John Hansen says one of their members top concerns are low commodity prices and the need for assistance from a new farm bill to help address that.

He says while it appears optimistic conferees are trying to move the farm bill next week would have liked to have seen a better legislative proposal.

Hansen says their major state concern is finding relief for the rising level of property taxes

Hansen says their members will also talk about the fake meat issue and about renewable fuels.
