Priorities of the American Farm Bureau with the new Joe Biden administration includes expanding trade and market access, rural broadband, addressing the farm labor shortage and strengthening the farm bill. Nebraska Farm Bureau’s Director of National Affairs Jordan Dux says as far as trade goes, no matter who’s in office, that’s critically important for America’s farmers and ranchers.

He says one of the top trade priorities has to be solidifying exports to China.

Dux says two other potential trade pacts the U.S. needs to focus on is with both the United Kingdom and the European Union.

Dux says U.S. trade negotiators also need to work with developing market opportunities with those countries involved in the old Trans Pacific Partnership.
