The Farm Bureau has several legislative priorities for Congress when they return next week from their August recess. Nebraska Farm Bureau National Affairs Coordinator Jordan Dux says the first is passage of a tax extenders measure.
Dux says the other major issue they want Congress to address is passing legislation to stop the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineer’s Waters of the U.S. rule.
Dux says third priority is passage of a voluntary biotech labeling bill.
Dux says their fourth priority is getting Congress to repeal Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling.
