American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall outlined two major trade priorities while on a visit to Nebraska this week. He says the top one is working with Congress to get the USMCA trade agreement ratified.

He’s encouraged that House Democratic leaders led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi have been meeting with Mexican officials and seem more open to possibly backing the USMC

Duvall says their second major trade goal is getting deals with Pacific Rim countries especially those already in the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans Pacific Partnership.

Duvall would also like to see the U.S. achieve a free trade agreement with the European Union and convince them to accept agricultural biotechnology.
