The South Dakota Corn Growers along with Farm Credit Services of America are continuing their Growing On Seminars this week following Friday’s meeting in Yankton. Keynoting those meetings is Iowa State University Extension Farm Management Specialist Steven Johnson. He says come the spring of 2017, there will be a lot of soybeans planted.
He advises producers to keep selling their soybeans.
Johnson also says growers should put together a plan.
He says farmers will be challenged by cash flow and grain merchandising this fall and winter. Growing On Seminars are set today in Sheldon and Tomorrow in Sioux Falls. For specific locations and times go to the Farm Credit Services of America and South Dakota Corn Growers websites.
