European Farmers Protest Over Restrictive Environmental Regulations

In Europe nations like Nederland’s and Belgium, farmers are protesting at capital cities over strict environmental regulations imposed by their government agencies. European farmers say the new regulations make it difficult for farmers to comply with the regulations and able to make an affordable living.  Many of the regulations have to deal with the environmental green movement that is sweeping across the globe.  The question is will U-S farmers see similar provisions here when Congress writes the farm bill this year.  Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig says we need to be aware of the extreme and far-reaching regulations that are being proposed by the Biden administration and environmental supporters.
