A dozen years ago, a University of Nebraska law school professor was working as a law clerk for Judge Merrick Garland. Eric Berger says it is “reprehensible” that Senate Republicans still refuse to schedule a hearing for Garland after President Obama nominated Garland for the U.S. Supreme Court

Berger says Garland has the qualifications to be a Supreme Court Justice..


Berger worked for Garland for a year, from August of 2003 until August of 2004. He joined the UNL faculty in 2007.
